Immunization
Requirements
No
Shots, No School
To go to school in Minnesota, students must show they've received the
required immunizations and an immunization record must be on file at
school. Parents may file a medical exemption signed by a health care
provider or a conscientious objection signed by parent/guardian and
notarized.

Immunization
Requirements
You can download the "Are Your
Kids Ready for School?" table that shows which shots are needed
and by when.
Shots
for pneumococcal disease are also recommended
for children under 5 years of age but are
not required for school. All children
should be protected by hepatitis B shots
- not just those required to have them
by law.
