The Early Learning Programs in the Farmington Public Schools provide our smallest participants quality care, and age appropriate learning opportunities, and resources for their parents and care givers.   

     
Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a program for parents and their children during the years from birth through prekindergarten. Our ECFE programs and classes offer families a place to grow and learn together. Check out our Spring and Summer brochure below to register for classes. Registration is open for Summer & Spring Classes and activities!

Wee Tigers Preschool

The preschool program is designed for three, four, and five year olds children. Classes are offered mornings, afternoons, and evenings in multiple locations in the district, from September through May. We are NAEYC Accredited and we are a 4 stars Parent Aware rated program.

Stepping Stones preschool

Stepping Stones is a year-round, full day Preschool for 3, 4 and 5 year olds (before Kindergarten) designed to provide a foundation for lifelong learning. We are NAEYC Accredited and we offer a developmentally appropriate, discovery based Pre-K curriculum created by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt School Publisher. Click here for Program Brochure


Early Childhood Screening

Early Childhood Screening is a  Free snapshot of how your preschooler is growing, developing, and learning. In Minnesota all children must be screened before entering Kindergarten in a public school. CLICK HERE to register online.

Appointments are held from 9am to 4pm, once a month, September through May.

The Early Learning Parent Teacher Partnership

The purpose of the Early Learning Parent/Teacher Partnership (ELPTP) is to guide and advise the Early Learning Programs of Farmington and to aid in providing quality programming to our young children.For more information contact Tresa Washburn at 651-460-3205
