Time for Learning

The purpose of Jump Start Kinder Camp is to have each child enjoy experiences that foster creative and positive learning.

The camp is designed for children who have had limited preschool experience, and/or need additional support to get ready for kindergarten.

The camp will also give children an opportunity to enhance their social and school readiness skills

 Who Should Attend?

All are encouraged to apply, but placement priority is given to children who have had limited preschool experience, show risk factors that are known to have an impact on school readiness and/or need additional support to get ready for kindergarten.  Scholarships and transportation is available for qualified participants.

Registration can be done by completing the  application and drop off or mail to the Community Education Office at 6100 195th Street West.  Parents will be notified by mail when their child is placed into the program by May 10.  Registrations will be accepted on a space available basis.

Children must be 5 by Sept 1, 2018 and toilet trained



Jump Start Kinder Camp is an Early Childhood Summer Program with priority given to children who have had limited preschool experience and need support to get ready for kindergarten. Children must turn 5 by September 01, 2018. 

Session I 
June 11-29  Monday- Friday
9:00-2:30 pm

Session II 
July 30- August 17  Monday- Friday
9:00- 2:30 pm

Sliding fee scale and transportation is available for those who qualify.
