Wee Tigers is a Community Education Preschool Program in the Farmington School District. We are a Parent Aware rated program. Our classes will give children the opportunities to gain school readiness skills. Classes are offered mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Wee Tigers Preschool operates as a self-supporting, non-profit program financed by enrollment fees. Wee Tigers is a  license exempt program but is voluntary in compliance.

Minnesota Reading Corps
Building a foundation of strong literacy skills is a priority for Farmington Area Public Schools and now that effort will be improved for the 2016-17 school year with the awarding of additional grants from the Minnesota Reading Corps. 

The Riverview  and ISC Wee Tigers locations will have Minnesota Reading Corps staff working with our students the 2016-2017 school year. ALL of the other locations are also in the process of incorporating the curriculum that is used with the Minnesota Reading Corps. To find out more about Minnesota Reading Corp click here

NAEYC Accreditation is a rigorous and transformative quality-improvement system that uses a set of 10 research-based standards to collaborate with early education programs to recognize and drive quality-improvement in high-quality early learning environments.


Early Childhood Screening
The Farmington Community Education is having a Special Early Childhood Screening Session, on December 14th, 2016. This special session will be for children that are currently 3 or will be turning 3 by then. You must register online or by phone to participate.
