FARMINGTON
ATHLETICS
The Farmington
High School Athletics Department offers 26 varsity-level sports
programs to boys and girls in District 192 schools, as well as
numerous junior varsity, B-squad, and 9th Grade programs. In addition
several athletics opportunities are offered at the Middle School
level (6th-8th Grade). Athletic activities are considered an integral
part of the district's educational curriculum, offering students
opportunities for physical and social development.
Farmington High
School is part of the Missota Conference. Conference members include:
- Academy
of Holy Angels
- Hutchinson
- Northfield
- Prior Lake
- Shakopee
- Red Wing
- New Prague.
The Farmington
High School athletics programs are also members of the Minnesota
State High School League and Region 1AA.
Fees for the
2009-10 school year are $145 for participation in high school sports
($195 for hockey), and $110 for participation in middle school
sports. Alternative Fee request can be made by contacting the Athletics
Director.
