Early Childhood Screening

Early Childhood Screening

The purpose of screening is to provide parents with general information about their child’s growth and development. The State of Minnesota requires that all children complete a free Early Childhood Screening. The purpose of the screening is to provide parents with general information about their child's growth and development and to identify children who may show potential health or developmental concerns. In our district, it is preferred the child is screened between the age of 3 and 4 years. This allows for social and developmental learning at preschool prior to the age of 4 to take place. For more information on Early Childhood Screening or to schedule an appointment convenient for you and your child please call 651-460-3208 or 651-460-3200.
