Colorín Colorado This is a bilingual website with great tips on helping your child become a better reader, lists of recommended books for different age groups, and frequently asked questions for parents of English language learners.

ECHO Minnesota
This website offers information on health, safety, community involvement and emergency readiness to immigrants and refugees in Minnesota.  The website is available in Khmer, Somali, Vietnamese, Lao, Spanish and Hmong.  Some resources on the website are also available in Amharic, Arabic, Karen, Oromo, and Russian.

http://freerice.com/ FreeRice is a non-profit website run by the United Nations World Food Programme. Our partner is the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.  For each question answered correctly, ten grains of rice are donated.  There are different subjects you can select from including art, Languages, vocabulary, geography, math and chemistry.

Activities for ESL students This is a great website for practicing grammar and vocabulary with quizzes and puzzles.  The website also offers bilingual quizzes available in 45+ different languages.

ManyThings.org This website has a wide variety of language games, puzzles, and reading, listening, and speaking activities for English language learners.

Purdue's Online Writing Lab This is a website for advanced and transitional high school ESL students who are about to enter college or the workforce.  The website offers advice and tips on writing for North American colleges and businesses.  They also offer links to current MLA and APA writing guides.
