Farmington Area Public Schools is happy to welcome Mike Wagner as the new Boys’ Soccer Coach at Farmington High School for the 2016-17 school year*. Wagner has previously coached soccer at Dakota Hills Middle School, Eagan High School, and Rosemount High School. He has also coached summer club soccer in Eagan and Apple Valley for all ages and competitive levels. In addition to coaching experience, Wagner has served in leadership positions on the Eagan Wave Soccer Club Board of Directors as an equipment director and as a boys’ program director. Outside of soccer, Wagner is a licensed special education teacher and works with families throughout the community. “As a teacher, and as a coach, I believe strongly in the importance of family and academics and openly communicating with students, student-athletes, and parents,” said Wagner.
A Burnsville native, Wagner is a life-long resident of the “South of the River” community and feels the importance of being a contributing member to the greater Dakota County area. He looks forward to strengthening his connection to Farmington and being a part of the Tiger community.
Welcome to the team, Mr. Wagner!
