New Head Boys’ Lacrosse Coach at Farmington High School

Kevin Dunnigan has been chosen to fill the position of Head Boys’ Lacrosse Coach at Farmington High School (pending approval by the ISD 192 School Board). Dunnigan brings with him a wealth of experience, having coached lacrosse for the past eight years. He has also developed a keen sense for promoting the game of lacrosse and building excitement for the sport over the past three years while serving as the Director of Events for True Lacrosse in Bloomington. In addition to his experience coaching and promoting the game of lacrosse throughout the community, Dunnigan has a degree in marketing and is currently a licensed teacher. This unique skill set has allowed him to work effectively with players of all ages, in youth programs and at the college level. He is devoted to supporting students with development beyond basic expectations. We are happy to welcome Coach Dunnigan to the Tigers and look forward to a strong season.  


New Head Boys’ Tennis Coach at Farmington High School

Blake Olmscheid has been chosen to fill the position of Head Boys’ Tennis Coach at Farmington High School (pending approval by the ISD 192 School Board). Olmscheid is a Farmington High School alumnus and a recent graduate of Saint Mary’s University. He played tennis throughout his high school and college careers, co-captaining his college team during his senior year. In addition to extensive playing experience, Olmscheid has worked as the head of the tennis program for the City of Farmington Parks and Recreation for two years. He has taught tennis at the University of Minnesota, working with Geoff Young, the Mens’ Head Tennis Coach there, taught private lessons, and coached many youth camps. “Tennis has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember,” wrote Olmscheid, “My high school and college coaches have played a very important role in my life… and I would revel in the opportunity to use what I have learned from them in order to have that same impact on another young person’s life.” We are happy to welcome Coach Olmscheid to the team!
