In honor of the 2016 Farmington High School graduation, we’re highlighting a few of this year’s outstanding graduating class. Here's our fifth Senior Spotlight:
Arrian Madden was nominated as an outstanding senior for her drive and determination. After spending half her freshman year in the hospital, due to complications from Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, Arrian knew she wanted to do whatever she could to help other students with similar experiences. She was determined not only to graduate high school, but to go on to college. During her high school career she built strong relationships with other students, teachers, administrators, and especially Janet Patience, the building nurse; but, it’s her mom who she calls her greatest motivator.
During her time at Farmington High School, Arrian has been involved in Choir, Link Crew, and the Tiger Leadership Club. Outside of school she is active with The Arthritis Foundation and Gillette Children’s Hospital. She plans to attend Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin where she will study Child Life next fall. Her advice for future seniors: “Just go with it. Push through to the end.” Best of luck in all your future endeavors, Arrian!
