Ashley Steffes has been named the winner of the 2017 Athena Award for Farmington High School. The St. Paul Area Athena Awards program honors female high school seniors for their athletic achievements. Steffes has been involved in Lacrosse, Basketball, and Cross Country throughout her high school career. Over the past four years she has received numerous awards and been recognized many times for her performance on the FHS Girls’ Lacrosse Team including All-Conference (9th, 10th, and 11th grade), All-State (11th grade), Team MVP (11th grade), and Brine All-American (11th grade). She has been a program leader in terms of points scored, assists, and number of games played. In addition, she has been a Lacrosse Captain during her junior and senior years and a Basketball Captain during her senior year.
Steffes has earned a scholarship to Butler University where she will play Lacrosse and plans to major in Healthcare and Business. Her teachers and coaches are proud of all her accomplishments and believe she represents Farmington with true Tiger Pride.
