Lee Goren will join the Tigers as the new Head Boys’ Hockey Coach at Farmington High School (pending approval by the ISD 192 School Board). Goren is a graduate of University of North Dakota. His previous coaching experience includes serving as the Men’s Assistant Hockey Coach at St. Olaf College and the Head Boys’ Hockey Coach (U18) at Bauer-Emerson Prep Academy. While at Bauer-Emerson Prep Academy, Goren also served as the Vice President of Hockey Operations which included not only coaching but recruiting, academic accountability, and building a hockey curriculum. Altogether, he has more than 19 years of playing and coaching experience at the collegiate and professional levels. “Communication, respect, and honesty are the foundation of any great program,” said Goren and he plans to focus on these qualities as part of the Farmington High School hockey program. He’s made it known that he will have high expectations of his players both on and off the ice. The Farmington Area Public Schools community is happy to welcome Coach Goren to the team!
