2018 Earth and Arbor Day

Join the City of Farmington and Farmington Area Community Education at the 2018 Earth & Arbor Day Celebration, on Saturday, April 28 at Meadowview Elementary School. This annual event focuses on taking care of the earth for future generations and will feature educational exhibits, animals, science and art activities, exhibits and more.

The free family celebration has a new location this year at Meadowview Elementary, located at 6100 195th Street West in Farmington and will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Children can bring their old, broken crayons so they can be recycled into new ones. Early Childhood Education staff will be providing fun activities and free trees for participants to take home.

Families are encouraged to bring a book or toy and leave with a book or toy – taking part in the ECFE Book and Toy Swap.

The Earth & Arbor Day Celebration is a partnership between the City of Farmington and Farmington Area Community Education and is sponsored in part by the Dakota County Board of Commissioners and the MN Pollution Control Agency.
