Friday, October 18th & Saturday October 19th; 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Admission:Adults 7 $, Ages 4-12 $3, 3 and under FREE.

Something for all ages!

Wednesday & Thursday bring your carved pumpkin
to Dakota City. We will judge them Thursday evening at 7 p.m., all pumpkins will be on display Friday & Saturday in the Village.

What you can do on Friday & Saturday:
Ride the trolley to pick an ear of corn, then follow how it gets from field to the table, visit live goats and mini bovine, hunt for the Medallion, learn Morse Code, trace leaves, sit on vintage Fire Trucks. Candy and gifts in the Gift Shop. Food and beverages in the drugstore. Listen to vintage music and see our vintage Halloween item.

An Old Fashioned Holiday in the Village

December 7, 8 & 14,15 from 1 - 8 p.m.
Admission:Adults 7 $, Ages 4-12 $3, 3 and under FREE. 

Something for all ages!

Take part in caroling, make crafts, meet St. Nicholas, write a letter to St. Nicholas, watch the Model Railroad Trains, watch demos on a wood stove, blacksmithing, carpentry, printing on linotype, go to the post office and have your letter stamped to St. Nicholas, then send it off.

Food and beverage in drugstore, gifts and candy in Gift Shop. In the museum Children’s Castle Theater will perform A Christmas Carol at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. daily. Raffle and Silent Auction in the museum lobby. Ride a horse drawn trolley around the village.

Lighting of the Community Holiday tree by Farmington Business Association in the bandstand at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 7th.  

Come and join us as we get ready for the holidays. Enjoy the village decorated both inside and outside.
