Kindergarten Enrollment Now Open for Fall 2025!
In Farmington Area Public Schools, kindergarten provides a safe, nurturing, and challenging environment for learners to think creatively and critically while growing their knowledge and skills. We are excited to welcome the next class of kindergarten learners and their families to our school community.
Kindergarten enrollment for the 2025-26 school year is now open! To complete enrollment and prepare for kindergarten, complete the following steps.
- Enroll online at farmington.k12.mn.us/enroll. We encourage all families planning to enroll a child in kindergarten next fall to do so as soon as possible to ensure you don’t miss out on any important events or communications. This also helps our schools in their planning process, ensuring they are fully prepared to welcome your child in the fall.
- Attend our Kindergarten Information Night on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at Farmington High School beginning at 6 p.m. This event is for parents and guardians of incoming kindergarteners and is a great opportunity to learn more about what kindergarten is like in ISD 192 and get any help you need with completing enrollment.
- Schedule a free early childhood screening for your child. Register through Farmington Community Education online at bit.ly/early-childhood-screening or call 651-460-3200. Even though the appointment is free, you’ll need to complete the entire registration process, including the checkout process with a charge of $0.00. You will receive a confirmation email once it is completed.
- Mark your calendars and attend a Spring into Kindergarten event to tour your school with your child, meet the teachers, and learn more about kindergarten in ISD 192!
- Akin Road Elementary - Thursday, May 8, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
- Farmington Elementary - Tuesday, May 13, 4-5 p.m.
- Meadowview Elementary - Thursday, May 8, 4-5 p.m.
- North Trail Elementary - Tuesday, May 13, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
- Riverview Elementary - Tuesday, April 29, 5-6 p.m.
