2025 Elementary Science Fair Highlights

Each spring students from ISD 192’s five elementary schools host their own unique science fairs. The students in grades 3-5 may go on to the Southern Minnesota Regional Science and Engineering Fair in late April. Farmington Area Public Schools, ISD 192 would like to extend a warm congratulations to all the elementary students who chose to participate in this year’s science fair! Below are some highlights from each school’s 2025 science fair.

Akin Road Elementary Schools (ARES)
Congratulations to all the Akin Road Elementary learners who participated in the ARES 2025 Science Fair! Thank you to each and every one of you who challenged yourself to explore, experiment and discover something new. We are incredibly proud of all the bright, curious minds that participated. You have all shown such creativity and perseverance! Also, a big thank you to our judges who came from within the community to help out in the special event.
The 2025 Akin Road Elementary School Science Fair winners were as follows:

Farmington Elementary School (FES)
Congratulations to all the Farmington Elementary School students who participated in the 2025 FES Science Fair and thank you to Mrs. Kaitlin Capri for hosting the event!
Mrs. Capri shared: “This year, Farmington Elementary School had 43 participants in our science fair! Our young scientists taught us a lot about volcanoes, outer space, coding, the scientific method, and more!” The 2025 Farmington Elementary School Science Fair participants were as follows:

Meadowview Elementary School (MVES)
On April 10th 60 students participate in the MVES Science Fair! "All of the students have so much to be proud of - they worked hard and it definitely showed. We are so proud of all of them!" said Science Fair Coordinator Amy Moses. Congratulations to all the Meadowview Elementary students who participated in the 2025 Science Fair!
