Early Childhood Screening

Early Childhood Screening

In Minnesota, all children must be screened before entering Kindergarten in a public school. All children have the right to receive a free
Early Childhood Screening with age 3 being the recommended age. Children can be also screened at age 4 and 5.

Early Childhood Screening is a free snapshot of how your child is growing, developing, and learning. Early Childhood Screening can connect families with resources in the community.
Interpreter services are provided at no cost to families if needed.
