WELLNESS COMMITTEE
Farmington Public Schools has established a district-wide Wellness Committee as an action-oriented advisory group that focus on the health and well-being of students, staff and families in a school community. The school Wellness Committee implements the district wellness policy (533) and leads other health-related initiatives.
The Committee meets on a monthly basis to plan and discuss ways to support the district’s wellness policy, ensuring a school environment that promotes students’ health, well-being, and ability to learn through healthy eating and physical activity.
