Welcome to the American Indian Education Program page on the District 192 website. This site a hub for events, activities and information related to our American Indian Education Program. 

The purpose of the American Indian Education Parent Committee is to deepen the family-school connection in order to 

  • provide continuous support to help students build a positive cultural personal identity
  • ensure students learn authentic and true information about their history and culture
  • inspire students to reach their highest aspirations and provide them with the support they need
  • connect families within the community to one another

Meeting Information

The American Indian Parent Advisory Committee meets monthly during the school year. Meetings for the 2025-2026 school year will be:

  • September 30, 2025 - Meeting
  • October 28, 2025 - Meeting
  • January 27, 2026 - Meeting
  • Postponed: April 28, 2026 (A date in May will be communicated soon!)

Meetings will take place at Farmington High School in room 1201 beginning at 6 p.m. 

Important Forms

In order for students to participate in the Indian Education program under the Federal Government Title VI eligibility, the student’s parent must complete the Title VI Student Eligibility Certification Form (506). Completing this form enables your student to be counted for funding under this program. This form will be maintained at your child’s school and will not be released without your written approval. This form will become part of your child’s school record and will not need to be completed every year.
