World's Best Workforce Goals

All children are ready for school.

  • The number of 4 year old students who move up 2 levels in the 2C domain (interacts with peers) by the end of the school year will increase from 24% to 40% in 2022-2023. 

All third graders can read at grade level.

  • The percent of third grade students who meet or exceed standards as measured by the reading MCA accountability tests will increase from 44.5% to 60% with at least 20% exceeding standards in spring 2023.

All racial and economic achievement gaps between students are closed.

  • Reading:  At least 60% of students in each Racial/Ethnic group will meet or exceed their individual growth targets on the Spring 2023 NWEA MAP Reading test, and at least 30% in each Racial/Ethnic group will meet their accelerated growth target.
  • Math: At least 60% of students in each Racial/Ethnic group will meet or exceed their individual growth targets on the Spring 2023 NWEA MAP Math test, and at least 30% in each Racial/Ethnic group will meet their accelerated growth target. 

All students are ready for career and college.

  • Farmington Area Schools will increase the percentage of students at or above college readiness benchmarks in all four subject areas from 19.4% in 2022 to 31% as reported in the ACT Profile Report for the Graduating Class of 2023.

All students graduate from high school.

  • Farmington Area Schools will increase the 6-year graduation rate from 96.8% to 98% by spring 2022 and 100% in spring 2023.
