Students at Riverview Elementary regularly work to spread kindness and goodwill through our community. As part of their fall philanthropy project, third, fourth, and fifth grade students in the RVES gifted program recently painted kindness rocks to put in front of their school. Each student traced his or her rock and then created a sketch on paper before painting the final product. Afterward, several students decided to create kindness rocks at home to give to neighbors and to put in their own gardens. “Kindness is a school-wide theme at RVES and we wanted to pass that message on to parents, siblings, and visitors at our school,” said Constance Will, RVES Gifted Specialist.
