2021 Teachers of the Year

Congratulations, ISD 192 Teachers of the Year!

Congratulations to Mark Froehling and Jen Hogan, the 2021 ISD 192 Teachers of the Year! Congratulations to Mark Froehling and Jen Hogan, the 2021 ISD 192 Teachers of the Year! 

Mr. Froehling teaches science at Farmington High School. He has been a teacher for 36 years and at FHS for the past 24 years. He also spent many years as the FHS Football Coach and has been recognized with the Power of Influence award from the Minnesota State High School Football Coaches Association and as the Teacher of the Week at the first high school football game at the new MN Vikings TCO facility.

When asked about winning ISD 192 Teacher of the Year, Mr. Froehling said:
 "Being a teacher in the Farmington School District and teaching at Farmington High School has been a real blessing to me for the past 24 years.  I am part of an innovative, creative and supportive staff and administration who care about the students in our schools.  My students are wonderful people whoHogan help make it fun to come to school each day.  With all the excellent teachers at Farmington High School, it is a real honor to be selected as Teacher of the Year."

Ms. Hogan is the School Counselor at Levi P. Dodge Middle School. She began her career at Farmington High School and has been a counselor in ISD 192 for the past 18 years. Most recently, she has served our Tiger Community by training her golden retriever, Murphy, to be a therapy dog. This fall Murphy was able to officially become part of the DMS staff.     

Ms. Hogan said about her work at Dodge Middle School: "I love my profession and I am grateful I have a career that fills my purpose. I take pride that I work in a district and at Dodge Middle School where staff want students to find their sparks, encourage risk taking, and embrace change. Dodge staff support my efforts to provide all students with the needed support in the areas of social/emotional development, 
Murphy the Goldencareer exploration, and life skills development. We are a community at Dodge and together we nurture, encourage and support students and staff to be thriving life-long learners."
