Apply Now for Educational Benefits!

As we prepare for the new school year, we have some important news to share with you regarding educational benefits (the free and reduced lunch program): For the past two years, students have received free breakfast and lunch at school due to federal COVID-19 relief funds. The federal government has not allocated funding for this program for the 2022-2023 school year, so meals will no longer be provided free to all students.

This means that if you did not submit an Educational Benefits Program application during the 2021-22 school year, your student(s) will begin accruing meal charges on the first day in which they eat at school. Should you think that you may qualify for the program, please apply as soon as possible to avoid accruing unnecessary meal charges as we begin the new school year. Guidelines for qualifying for the Educational Benefits Program can be found here.

Applications take effect the day they are processed and cannot be backdated. We cannot retro-activate the benefit if you qualify for the program. Should your student(s) accrue any meal charges, you will be responsible for paying for those meal charges prior to approval of your application.

More Than Meals!

The Educational Benefits Program provides additional funding for a variety of state and federal programs and services at your school. In addition to free or reduced prices on delicious and nutritious meals, qualifying for the Educational Benefits Program can result in free or discounted fees to participate in or attend school activities, discounted fees for academic tests like the SAT, ACT, and AP courses, and some discounted rates associated with college applications.
