The Bridge for Runaway Youth (www.bridgeforyouth.org) provides short-term shelter and housing services, as well as offering a variety of groups for youth ages 10-17 and their families. Most services are free or based on a sliding fee scale. Phone: 612-377-8800.

Bridge to Benefits (bridgetobenefits.org) Bridge to Benefits is a project by Children’s Defense Fund-Minnesota to improve the well-being of families and individuals by linking them to public work support programs and tax credits. By answering a few simple questions, you will be able to see if you or someone else may be eligible for public work support programs. We will NOT ask you for information that identifies you. 
 

Comunidades Latinas Unidas en Servicio (CLUES) (www.clues.org) is Minnesota’s premier Latino social and behavioral health services provider. Now ranked among the top 25 Hispanic nonprofits in the United States by Hispanic Business Magazine, CLUES has served Minnesota’s Latino community for over 24 years. We provide a continuum of five core services: Mental Health, Chemical Health, Education, Employment and Elder Wellness. CLUES has offices in both St. Paul and Minneapolis.

The Eating Disorders Institute, Methodist Hospital specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders. For questions or information, call 952-993-6200.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Support Group provides an opportunity for parents and caregivers of children with mental illness to get together and share similar experiences. The Lakeville support group meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Early Childhood Education building, 17817 Kenwood Trail.

Poison Centers, Hennepin County Medical Center provides emergency information and advice by telephone concerning overdose, street drugs, side effects of prescription drugs, exposure to household and industrial chemicals, etc. Staffed by professional pharmacists. Phone: 800-222-1222

The Storefront Group (www.storefront.org) is a multi-faceted human service and mental health provider with a focus on promoting the positive growth and development of school-age children and their families in the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs.

Teenage Medical Service (TAMS) is the adolescent outpatient department of Children's Health Care - Minneapolis. It is a comprehensive health care clinic with services designed to meet the needs of young people between the ages of 10 and 23.Health services at TAMS are designed for teenagers. Professionals at TAMS are experts in adolescent health and development. TAMS provides medical services, mental health services, comprehensive family and adolescent evaluations, and an eating disorders program. A variety of health insurance plans are accepted.
