You can vote by absentee ballot beginning September 22, 2023 (or by direct ballot beginning October 20, 2023) at the Farmington Area Public Schools District Service Center. The district office is located inside Farmington High School (20655 Flagstaff Avenue, Farmington, MN 55024). Please enter through door 16 on the south side of the building. The District Service Center is open Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.


You can also vote by absentee ballot beginning September 22, 2023 (or by direct ballot beginning October 20, 2023) at the Dakota County Western Service Center - Apple Valley, Dakota County Government Center - Hastings, and Dakota County Northern Service Center - West St. Paul.


To vote you must:

  •  be at least 18 years old;
  • be a citizen of the United States;
  • be a resident of the school district and maintain residence in the district for 20 days immediately preceding the election.
